I love the outdoors and a little adventure so today was awesome for me! Despite costing a whopping $550 it was a once in a lifetime experience. It took 3 hours to find them and then Jen fell and screamed which meant we were charged at by one of the gorillas! OMG I was shitting myself - it stopped a few feet away from me! I was just about to collapse and pass out whilst frantically trying to take a photo! Awesome!

We got to see a couple of younger gorillas playing in the trees, a silverback and a female gorilla. After an hour with them, we cleared some bush and had food overlooking the mountains. We ate chapattis and sausages from the night before and trekked back to the truck seeing elephants and some colourful birds on the way. The guards gave us certificates and thanked us for the business. They called us mzungu's in the mist :) Great day, loved it!

We got back and everywhere was flooded. I still had Henry's rain jacket so starting running around camp like a big kid! The kitchen on the truck was left open so all the food and plates were ruined and some tents were left open and Charlie in particular was heart broken when her camera broke. I felt so sorry for her but she got a new one the following week! Good news - Rosie got a 1st class degree so she got wasted!

The barmen dug up the floor boards to get matt's cigarettes

The night we found out Rosie got a first :)
