Everyday here is such a buzz. You wake up at 6.30, shower, eat breakfast, pack your tent and then you're on the road or a mad adventure for the day. Then you're back at 6pm setup camp, cook food and hit the bar! Its Awesome!
Today everyone went to a local community education project but a few of us chose to the jet boat and quad biking instead. Manic driving around villages, dirt tracks and rural farm land was loads of fun. At one point (this is how random africa is), we drove to the edge of a cliff and found a cow tied up.
The jet boating was crazy, we were flying down the nile, inches away from smashing into the rocks. We all got soaked. There's nothing like this in the UK so we made the most of it. Back at camp a few of us had a go on the bungee jump. I have never been so scared in my life and had to jump with paddy. Rosie filmed us and said "this is you vinnie boy shitting your self" haha I was! Next year I want to jump in Cape Town - the biggest bungee in the world.
After a wicked day, Birgit and her cook team cooked a crazy but stunning mince and banana bake with rice. It was LUSH! Here's my version of it having cooked back in England.. mmm..
